Stress is our response to any kind of fear or demand. When we sense danger (Real or fictional) the body goes into automatic response mode known as ‘’fight or flight’’ mode. But this chemical has negative effects, which every person experiences, and are causes of sadness and pessimism. Stress has negative effects on a person’s mood which include anxiety, anger, restlessness, lack of motivation and social withdrawal, etc.

Regular deep meditation offers balanced and peaceful results which are beneficial for overall health and well being.

Normally effects of stress become more profound as we grow older. In our youth, we feel that we have the power to conquer the world but as we grow older we feel that we have lost this ability, and day after day we seem to be slaves of our circumstances. If we meditate daily we strengthen or will power. The positive benefits of meditation do not just end with the meditation session. They remain with us throughout the day by decreasing negativity and improving focus.

Our mind has limitless power and is omnipotent. But stress puts limits to mental powers and we feel incapacitated. We become our own enemy when we limit our mental power through restrictions put on us by stress. We should work with our minds to break all the limitations. Deep relaxing meditation can be of immense help to achieve this quality and to free our minds from all prejudices.

Success does not come from outside it lies in the mind. As soon as we have a right thought we should work on it. Some people have an idea but they do not have the tenacity to make it possible. We must have the courage and perseverance to achieve what we have thought. In order to achieve great things we should have a strong mind and will power. Meditative practices help us to calm our minds and develop strong will power.

Several thoughts swirl in our mind we must water only those which are constructive. Meditation helps us have stronger analytical power to filter these thoughts to lead a tension free life. It helps us combat stress in an effective manner. Meditation helps us to activate our body cells to be relaxed.
